Supply Officer – Mt Carlton Gold Mine, QLD

About the role

The Supply Officer is a key role within our operation who provides the effective supply of goods to a diverse range of stakeholders across the Mt Carlton Mine site. Key result areas in this role include:

• Ensure that goods and materials are receipted as per purchase order.
• Monitor Inventory and Critical commodities to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to support site operations.
• Raise quantity and or quality issues with vendors.
• Conduct Stocktaking on an as required basis.

About you

As a Supply Officer, you will ideally hold a certificate in Warehouse & Logistics, and it is also important that you have:

• High-risk Forklift ticket
• Heavy Rigid Truck licence
• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse/logistics experience, ideally in a mining/heavy industry environment.

To be successful in this role we are searching for an organised, highly efficient, and proactive individual with excellent communication customer service skills. Intermediate computer skills are a requirement for this position and experience with Pronto would be advantageous.

Mt. Carlton Operation is a gold mining and processing operation located 150km south-west of Townsville, Queensland, on the traditional lands of the Birriah People. It has been in operation since 2013 and holds a proven track record of safety, profitability, and Ore Reserve replenishment.

Mt Carlton provides a bus in/bus out service for our employees, with transport operating several days a week. On site there is comfortable accommodation with fully catered meals, gym, and sporting facilities.
